Robothon: Beach Clean Up Challenge

Protecting the planet from pollution is one of the most urgent global challenges. In this context, cleaning up coastlines is a crucial yet labor-intensive task that is typically performed manually by workers.

Through the Technical University of Munich (TUM), I had the opportunity to participate in the Robothon competition, which focused on developing a robotic platform to assist with beach cleaning efforts. The objective was to autonomously sort various objects by identifying them, determining their appropriate category, and placing them in the correct container.
